Polish artist Oskar Zieta discovered an innovative technology for treating stainless steel. Using this technology, he lays two wafer-thin, laser-cut sheets of stainless steel on top of each other and literally inflates them. This results in shiny, sculptural works of art reminiscent of organic forms. Through the thickness of the stainless steel and the pressure applied, the artist can determine what shape the interior will take, even after it has been welded shut. The process, also called FIDU, is what Zieta uses to create his lightweight mirrors RONDO and TAFLA. Looking at them, viewers
